Aera Barnette LMT

Aera (they/them) is a light touch specialist with both an intuitive & clinical approach to interdisciplinary bodywork. Aera’s primary focus is on the nervous system. They don't employ techniques of deep pressure. Instead, they facilitate the natural ability of the nervous system for one’s own recovery through gentle manipulation of the fascia, and incorporating elements of, reiki, passive movement, & stretching.

Their approach to bodywork is like how that of an artist manifests their vision onto paper. Aera will take these multiple modalities and apply them in their own unique way to help the client. This kind of bodywork is beneficial for folx suffering from stress, chronic pain, and who are easily overstimulated.

Folx with a history of traumatic brain injury, migraines, chronic pain & stress, or who have disabilities like autism  will find Aera to be warm, nurturing, and collaborative in their approach to providing care.
